Spread holiday cheer - Play your favorite Christmas songs or go caroling. Music never fails to set a festive mood!

Enjoy the snow - Go out in your backyard with the kids and create your own winter wonderland. Build your first snowman, have a snowball fight, go sledding, or make snow angels.

Bake homemade goodies - Make your own gorgeous gifts all dressed-up in pretty packaging. Bake cookies, muffins, puddings, pies, and cakes. These treats will make your Christmas sweeter than ever! You can also make a deliciously fragrant gingerbread house.

Invite your friends and family near your area - It's never too late to host a wonderful Christmas gathering. It doesn't have to be elaborate; there are a lot of easy-to-prepare dishes that your guests will surely love. Serve fast finger foods and prepare meals the night before. Circulate on large platters and have a dedicated drinks bar to make it easy for guests to top up their glasses. This is also an awesome spot to mingle.

Oh and, don't forget to send guests off in a festive style with a box of your sweet homemade treats!

Watch Christmas movies - If you're craving for some old fashioned Christmas movies, now is the time to slump with a few classics. This is also a great time to feel warm and fuzzy. Make fancy hot chocolates with marshmallow, sprinkles, and whipped cream. Or maybe you can sneak in some food and drinks from the table.

Hang Christmas stockings - Make your kids believe in Santa Claus - they will surely be delighted to wake up with some trinkets and stuffers!

Gift giving - You don't have to spend much on expensive gifts - small tokens and homemade gifts would be great! Gather around the Christmas tree with your family and exchange gifts.

Or, you can kiss under the mistletoe and just sit by the fire with your loved one to take the stress out of moving and enjoy Christmas together.

You can also do a generous act. After all, Christmas is a time for spreading joy, kindness, and love. Volunteer or donate in a homeless shelter, or participate in a local toy/food drive.

Do something fun outdoors - Head in the local park, go sledding, skiing, or just simply go out of your house and enjoy the cool winter breeze. Check out these family-friendly Christmas celebrations and holiday events in New Jersey.
